Co-Founder

I’m Maor Meir Cohen, an ATPL Pilot based in Romany.

Like many of you, I’ve been passionate about aviation for as long as I can remember.

When I set out to become a pilot, I quickly realized how complex and overwhelming the process could be—visas, finances, training options, relocation. There wasn’t a clear path, and finding the right information felt like a challenge in itself.

That’s why Naomi And I came together to create this community, a place where pilots at every stage can find support, guidance, and real opportunities.

I'm Naomi Schayek, a First Officer, Gold Seal CFI CFII, and Mentor located in Israel

I founded Blue Jay Aviation Club to create a supportive community for Israeli pilots.

After overcoming my own challenges in aviation, working hard to fund my aviation studying, and relocated to the USA for 5 years , I wanted to offer others resources, mentorship, and a sense of belonging through the aviation journey.

When I met Maor, we quickly relazied we shared the same vision- to create a strong, empowering community.

Together with our team and mentors, our goal is to make aviation more accessible, break down barriers, and build a strong, professional network where we can all grow and succeed.
